The Fondevila bookshop first opened its doors in 1894 and is located at the bottom of the Ramblas. The Casa Roca shop, which sells every item needed for parties and celebrations, dates back to 1850 and is just behind Via Sindicato. Ca’n Miquel - Forn De Sa Pelleteria, found close to Plaza San Francisco, opened in 1565 and is a bakery serving traditionally made breads. The popular Can Frasquest sweet shop that dates back to 1704 is near Plaza del Mercat.
